My passion was sparked at a super early age, as I watched my mom (a 30 year entrepreneur) dedicate everything it takes to grow and sustain a business for decades. She was a child of entrepreneurs, and quite literally business ownership is in my blood. I knew that my journey would take me to owning my own business, but I didn’t know the shape it would take until the seed for Root Strength Consulting was planted, and left to bloom. 

 

I have had ALMOST every job you can have in a traditional salon. I tore foils, I swept floors, booked appointments, did makeup, was a stylist, and folded more towels that I care to count. The beauty industry is MY domain, and I felt the connection from my very first day as a salon assistant in 2003. In my experience working in, and with beauty businesses, the same needs kept coming up- accountability, strategic suggestions and support, and guidance in setting up a business structure, were frequently missing or underdeveloped. I knew then, just as I do now, that I can help. With my decades of experience (22 years this year!!), passion and commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and excitement about the details of beauty business, I am bursting with the knowledge you need.
